Who is

Pot & Kettle?

We are an art collective of three. Everett is an artist trained in traditional visual art and a self taught digital artist. His work is illustrative in nature employing uniquely provocative anthropomorphic designs that compels viewers to look deeper. Fadwa, his wife, is the glue of the collective. She manages the studio and provides the sanity. Ixchel, his sister, is also a trained in traditional media and specializes in watercolor. Her work is centered more on nature and the spirituality therein, and uses images and iconography inspired by the beliefs of many cultures from around the world.

Together, we aspire to engage with you through visual story telling that explores cognitive dissonance and its contradictions that affect our everyday lives. By weaving captivating, illustratively charming, whimsical stories with provocative and evocative imagery; we hope to foster a dialogue questioning the status quo.

We see the world of bitcoin technology (BTC) as a vehicle for this vision we want to share; and explore new and exciting possibilities for digital art.

We call ourselves Pot & Kettle because this is at the heart of cognitive dissonance. When we point a finger at another person to criticize or to ridicule, there are three fingers pointing back at us accusing us of the same. Through our unique storytelling with whimsical and often hilarious imagery contrasting the serious with the inane; we hope to achieve an awareness of this stupor in which we find ourselves.

Thank you and welcome to Pot & Kettle!
